Once a month, the former college boy, now back in junior high, drinks the special concoction her mom gives her, MiraLAX and red Gatorade. The first month she got scared when it happened but her mom explained to her that girls have that special time of the month. Unfortunately, she is not regular and sometimes it happens in three weeks and sometimes not for six weeks. Sometimes it is only two days but it can last more than a week. She carries tampons with her to prevent accidents. Even when her friends don't know she is so embarrassed with one in her and tries to stay close to home, even if it means being teased by her siblings.
If her flow is unusually heavy, a pad will help her feel more secure. She should also have a few pair of "period panties". Don't forget the FDS spray in her purse. Feeling fresh is very important for a co-ed.
